Thank you! I'm so glad you found it helpful. Despite its cutesy name, it emerged from months of research and interviews with community industry colleagues. I wanted something evidence-based yet easy to remember!
I'm ever-so-grateful that Nadine tagged me on your wonderful post. I think your grandmother is a permanent part of the HELLO framework from here on out. Actually, maybe she was the OG.
I wish I could tag her so she'd see that: "here, there, and everywhere" captures it! Hopefully I'll see her at an event later today and be able to casually tell her. ;-)
I really appreciate your comment. I looooove going deep into topics—and then resurfacing to explain them like a 5th grade teacher. From what I've read of your work so far, you seem to share a similar bent! Enjoy what delights Wednesday brings!
That makes me so happy to hear! I appreciate your subscribing, and I’m especially curious to hear what changes you notice when you implement an idea or two.
Thanks very much for sharing with your team—and for taking the added time to connect here.
It makes writing so much more fun to hear from readers!
I think this is a masterpiece Laura. When I opened my publication I had so many of my friends say hello, after a week or twol we all lost touch and the hello became a very dry one, then to a never hello.... I believe with these we can always coach them to be as better as we are and then grow alongside one another 💯
I love the HELLO Framework. This is the first time I've seen this.
Having worked in Business Development/Marketing for over 30 years, starting almost before computers existed (!!!!), my qualifications in Marketing encouraged me to focus on 'COMPETITION' - analyse the enemy! It was quite fierce - all about analysing everyone around you, but not giving anything away.
Remember the PESTLE, and SWOT analysis. (I still use those sometimes!). Strengths, Weaknesses, THREATS...!!! One tiny positive was Opportunity.
In 2024 I started to shout 'HELLO - is anybody out there?!" (Do you remember the two famous songs titled HELLO - Lionel Ritchie and Adele!)
I then happened to listen to a missionary talking about helping people around the world. I never forget the slide where he mentioned AMEN - it's stands for 'SO BE IT.'
I love the HELLO framework. It is a game-changer, especially the emphasis on pacing and personalization.
Also, I appreciate the mention here, Laura. THANK YOU!
I hope you have a good week ahead.

Yes Nadine is a valuable connector of people.
She is here, there and everywhere.
I really appreciate the depth of research you put into this.
Making something evidence-based and memorable is no small feat.
Happy Tuesday Laura :)

Oh hooray…the tagging works. When nothing changed color I assumed that the feature didn't work in comments. And, hello there, @Nadine!
This is so good! I subscribed and sent this post to my whole team.
Really quality tips here Laura! We are going to use some of this - 100%

Wow. What a lovely note. Thank you so much for sharing that — and yes, here's to growing alongside one another. I love the image of that. 💛
So simple, and yet…
