@Laura I definitely resonate with your comments on creating community right now. And the tactile aspect of life, what you say here: 'There's a quiet rebellion happening. People are returning to crafts, baking sourdough, digging in gardens. We’re longing to slow down and find texture and meaning.' Part of my manifesto is to connect more with my environment and people in the physical place where I live as well as truly connect with aligned people in global online communities too. Its the best of both worlds, and so worth intentional engagement in both.

AI will have its place too, to help us with so many tasks, but nothing beats our own thoughts coming from our own mouths shared in deep conversation.

Thank you for this post! I am a 33 year veteran teacher, a writer, and a cartoonist. I have had people tell me that I should let chatbots write my comics. The pressure to use aAInin teaching is enormous. I have, instead, leaned into my students drafting with pen and paper. And I think it's working. Students are engaging.
